The Dunedin Brewery, opened in 1996, is the oldest microbrewery in Florida. Their fifteen hand-crafted ales and lagers are made by a small collective of brewers fourteen barrels at a time. Caledonia is the Roman name for what would become Scotland and stands today as a tribute to Dunedin’s Scottish heritage at Caledonia Brewing. The brewery is housed in the historic 1925 Dunedin Times building where they brew their small batch craft beers made with natural and organic ingredients. They include lagers, ales, stouts, IPA’s, Hefeweizen, and more, with a list of forty beers on their website. The large downtown taproom has community tables available for parties and meetings. HOB Brewing grew from the success of the House of Beer Taphouse, opened in 2009. Today, HOB Brewing is a large brewery on the Pinellas Trail with an expansive outdoor patio and recreation area.
